- In March 2024, NC State PTRC Representative Greg Tourino provided a guest lecture to the UNC School of Information and Library Science.
- INLS 709 Business Information course focused on patent basics, from the patent process to classification, to tips for searching highlighting Patent Public Search along with resources available at the NCSU PTRC.
- Successfully transferred to one PTRC representative with Tara Radniecki’s departure.
- Presented intellectual property activity for 12 sections of BUS101 (600 students).
- Continued involvement with Nevada’s entrepreneurial community: NCET (alongside USPTO) & SBDC.

- The PTRC had two notable displays at outreach events:
- In October, they participated in the annual Sacramento Archives. This year’s theme was “Myth, Folklore, and Legend,” so the PTRC put together a display of mermaid-related patents (see photo).
- In March, they participated in the annual Free Museum Weekend.

- Our PTRC is getting an upgrade! We’re moving into a new space and adding a small business startup center. In conjunction with various partners, the center will feature 1:1 business coaching, expert consultations, legal and intellectual property-focused seminars, business books and databases, and community events.
- If you’re attending the Annual American Library Association (ALA) conference in San Diego this year, please stop by to visit us and our new Business Center! The Central Library (home of our PTRC) is just half a mile from the Convention Center site.

- Collaborated on an exhibit, Denizens of the Deep Deep, bringing together items highlighting the breadth of content available from the UW Libraries about the ocean and sea creatures.

- Christina curated the section, “Diving Inventions: Humans Venture into the Underwater World.” In addition to books, photos and other materials depicting creative and inventive diving suits and underwater vehicles, the two display cases featured four U.S. patents: Houdini’s diving suit, an “octopus vehicle,”

- National Inventor Club founder Brian Fried has invited me back onto his monthly livestream program where I promoted PTRCs and offered my “Two Minute Tips” on intellectual property protection.
- Early outreach efforts with local SBDAs are paying dividends as more referrals are coming in.
- The Smithtown Library PTRC celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2023.
- David Zielke, who was instrumental in getting their PTRC established, has retired and John Burns has taken his place as the PTRC representative.
- Wait! David has come back, part-time, to help with cataloguing their library and will be a back-up for John.
- In the Fall of 2023 they held their grand opening. Molly Kocialski, Rob, and Spruce attended. Their president and provost spoke. They had a great turnout and even received local news coverage!

- Had a separate training workshop for regional librarians from the Coastal Georgia Library Collaborative (CGLC) in Savannah.

- The OSU Stillwater PTRC was established in 1956 and is housed with the Government Documents Department, a regional depository for the Federal Depository Library Program.
- Programming includes trademark workshops with the OSU Food and Agricultural Products center, an overview of IP with the Oklahoma Small Business Development Centers, and Grassroots Rural and Ag Business outreach with the Oklahoma Farm Board.
- We provide one-on-on assistance to students in the Startup Experience program in the Center for Entrepreneurship.

- On August 31, 2023 , the University Park PTRC participated in the Living In Our Neighborhood (LION) Bash:
- Part block party, part resource fair that connects students, community members, and PSU units, and local organizations.
- ½ the table showcased Penn State University’s STEM Libraries and ½ the table showcased the PTRC.
- There were approximately 1000 attendees to the event and I spoke with well over 200 people about the PTRC.
