- Emily celebrated one full year as PTRC rep in March

- The PTRC had two notable displays at outreach events:
- In October, they participated in the annual Sacramento Archives. This year’s theme was “Myth, Folklore, and Legend,” so the PTRC put together a display of mermaid-related patents (see photo).
- In March, they participated in the annual Free Museum Weekend. The library’s theme was “CDL Science Fair.” The PTRC had a display on the life and patents of Nikola Tesla, featuring a plasma globe, which is adapted from Tesla’s patent # US514170.
