The OSU Stillwater PTRC was established in 1956 and is part of the Government Documents Department, a regional depository for the Federal Depository Library Program.
We continue to provide preliminary search assistance, primarily by phone and email, using Patent Public Search and the Trademark Search system and promote the monthly PTRC Program training sessions.
Programming includes workshops with the Oklahoma Small Business Development Centers, Grassroots Rural and Ag Business outreach with the Oklahoma Farm Board,

Arizona State University

Hosting a designation celebration which included representatives from the USPTO and a presentation about famous, and not-so-famous, inventions from Arizona
Utilizing ASU’s four campuses across the Phoenix metro to host consultations at locations most convenient for patrons
Reaching over 1,500 individuals directly through outreach efforts across the region
Partnering with the PTRC at the Arizona State Library for events
Working with entrepreneurial groups at Arizona State and in the community to provide on-demand intellectual property discussions
Creating fun intellectual property activities and handouts including a coloring book featuring ASU inventions and a create-your-own inventor card

- Living in Our Neighborhood (LION) Bash in August 2024 for State College residents and Penn State University students.
- I-STEAM: Franklin’s Legacy, Protecting Innovation in January 2025 for K-12 educators to explore the world of intellectual property & innovation in conjunction with USPTO’s Office of Public Engagement and Penn State University’s Center for Science and the Schools
- Three K-12 STEAM events:
  - Haunted U – 215 attendees
  - Exploration-U – 315 attendees
  - West Branch STEAM Night – 159 attendees

Participated in Small Business Resource Fair, hosted by DCSBDC, which had great turnout and allowed me to share patent and trademark info with DC entrepreneurs face-to-face
Partnering again with DCSBDC this coming March for Entrepreneurship Week – will have a “pop-up PTRC” table in the Student Center where students can stop by and learn more about the PTRC and resources for student entrepreneurs on campus

Wichita State University

We had the opportunity to have a resource partner table during Wichita Startup Week
During our fall Entrepreneurship Research Series we had guest speaker, Rob Gerlach, talk on Navigating IP and Tech Transfer
- This networking and connection lead to our PTRC working more closely with our WSU Innovation Campus
We were able to continue our guest speaking opportunities with local entrepreneurship cohort groups
- Expanding our outreach with new SPARK program group!
