We are located in the Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PAMS) Library at Penn State University. We have been a PTRC for over 35 years and the PTRC has been in PAMS for over 10 years. The University president started an Invent Penn State initiative about 2 years ago, and the impact has been amazing. We have growth in users all over Pennsylvania, so librarians at other campuses across the state have been trained in patent searching. Lori Lysiak at Penn State Altoona is attending her second PTRC workshop. We are involved with local “Launchboxes” all over the state of PA, incubators for the University and community partners such as SBDCs and businesses.
