We have a new webpage and an updated research guide. The webpage is the first standalone webpage dedicated to the PTRC in a very long time. The research guide combined what was two separate guides (1 on patents and 1 on trademarks) into one singular guide.
In April 2022, we collaborated with the Eastern Regional Outreach Office to provide an Intellectual Property 101 session for Penn State Startup Week.
In November 2022, provided a virtual Trademark workshop for Penn State Global Entrepreneurship Week, which had a great turnout. I was invited to repeat this workshop for the Penn State Startup Week in March 2023.
We renovated a small area of the Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PAMS) Library, where the PTRC is located, to create a dedicated Intellectual Property research space. It is now bookable on the Libraries website and used as a meeting space for students and community members. The two photos show the outside and the inside of the space. A big thanks to Spruce Fraser for sending some posters to help set-up the new space!
