John Meier is the PTRC rep for University Park, PA hosted by Penn State University in the Physical and Mathematical Sciences Library. I am joined by Lori Lysiak and Carmen Cole as librarians with advanced PTRC training. A few other Penn State librarians have recently been trained online by John and the PTRC program office. We have been a PTRC for over 40 years and have grown rapidly in recent years due the University president’s Invent Penn State initiatives. We teach course integrated patent information literacy at multiple campuses throughout Pennsylvania, assist inventors remotely in central PA, and conduct research into related topics as faculty librarians. In 2020 we had a very successful year despite the pandemic. We presented programs during Penn State Startup Week, Global Entrepreneurship Week, and had dozens of Zoom consultations.
