- Utah Tech University was officially designated as a PTRC on October 11, 2022, with David Zielke and John Burns as PTRC Representatives. UT immediately updated its Patent and Trademark Research Guide to reflect our new status.
- On October 20 & 21, 2022, the UT library hosted the “How to Best Utilize Intellectual Property (IP) for Your Business” workshop, presented by Molly Kocialski and her colleagues from the Rocky Mountain Regional USPTO Office.
- Molly Kocialski has been invited to be a keynote speaker at the Global Polytechnic Summit hostedby Utah Tech University on June 4, 2023.
- The university has approvedthe remodeling of the library’s mezzanine for a PTRC office and conferenceroom, alongwith space for a Graduate student group study area, individual carrels, and computer study area.
- The PTRC Representatives have already consulted with two patrons this spring, even before we have constructed our PTRC office.
