We continue to meet with patent and trademark researchers primarily online which has been the case over the past four years.
I also regularly give my Introduction to Patents and Introduction to Trademarks classes virtually which are always well attended with many questions from the audience.
On March 21, the Commissioner for Patents, Vaishali Udupa, visited the Thomas Yoseloff Business Center where she was interviewed by Brian Fried, the founder of the National Inventor Club. This event was attended by members of this club as well as USPTO staff such as Elizabeth Dougherty and Monica Shin and was broadcast live via Webex. Brian Fried and I are planning for future joint events.
