I connected with LegalCORPS for legal consultations last June, which had a good turnout, and we’ve got plans in the works for 2025 on programs: one for pro se applicants and one on AI and trademarks.
We have brought back virtual quarterly IP talks. They introduce PTRC resources, talk a bit about the basics, give an overview of the application process, and introduce basic searching.
To start, twice a year, we’ll focus on patents, and twice on trademarks; we may increase the occurrences of both if patron interest bears it.
We’re taking the opportunity of a desperately needed collection shift to tighten up our print collection and make it more appealing.
Started a (small but mighty) monthly display featuring MN inventors
I even got to meet Johnna Childs in person and show her around the library!
