Here at the Hennepin County Library I continued to do my monthly patent workshop, alternating between the downtown Central Library and the suburban Southdale Library where I work two days a week.
We are still happily partnering with LegalCORPS, an IP pro bono organization, to present two classed lead by IP attorneys: Protecting Your Ideas: Intellectual Property Basics for Inventors and Writing and Filing a Provisional Patent Application. It seems like attendance has been up for our classes this last year. Always a good thing!
In September Dr. Christal Sheppard, Director of the Midwest Regional USPTO in Detroit, visited the Twin Cities and spoke to a group of inventors at the Central Library.
