On January 8 Linda Hall Library hosted ~80 students from St. Teresa’s Academy for a kick-off event for the Kansas City Invention Convention (KCIC).
Over the course of 2 hours, the students. participated in speed-dating-like sessions for 20-30 minutes on:
Shout-out to event organizer: Matt Reeves, Coordinator of KCIC, and Reference Librarians Sara Mawhirter(MIST-LS, MU-Columbia) and Sophia Hahn (MLS, UW-Madison).
Revised the USPTO Invention Gameand distributed it to the teachers after the event.
Updated the library’s LibGuideon patents and trademarks with the new info in Patent Public Search and Trademark Search. 63
