The Paul Laurence Dunbar Library has been a PTRC since 2000. Our PTRC collection is located in the Information commons area of the main library. Access to PubWEST and PubEAST is through the Information Desk. We established a PTRC only workstation area for more privacy.
In 2017, we had 186 requests for intellectual property information through email, telephone, and appointments. Community presentations had 47 attendees.
Wright State University remains in fiscal crisis. It is a mess. Our Reference and Instruction department has lost 10 employees in the last 3 years. We currently have 6 employees in the department with 2 open positions. Our faculty went on an 18 day strike this spring semester.
We have a new provost who is very supportive of our PTRC. We are looking forward to more community outreach in the coming year.
