- In the past year our department has been in the process of a huge reorganization.
- The PTRC is now under the umbrella of System Adult Outreach Services.
- Currently, I am having at least two other staff members take the trainings to familiarize themselves with the program.
- We have successfully cooperated with SCORE and the small business community to inform people of this resource.
- I’ve met one-on-one with several patrons this year regarding filing for patents.
- One of the patrons I met with, initially for business plan help, is now in the process of securing a patent for the invention that was part of that business plan.
- In July, I appeared on an online business program Streamlined Business Strategies where I discussed all the things the library had to offer, including the PTRC. I received inquiries from across NYS asking how to access these items.
