Still getting support from retired colleagues who had helped get our Patent Depository Library (PTDL) designation on June 16, 1983
Susan Ardis, former Head of the Engineering Library, lives just outside of Austin, and Virginia Phillips, Head of Branch Services and now 102 years old, lives just off campus

Photo on left: Jar of rocks came to us recently. They were saved and labeled in 1952 when, in Operation Gopher, students dug out under the Engineering Building to create space for a recreation and study area.
