The Ann Arbor MI PTRC is located in the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library (AAEL) in the Duderstadt Center at the University of Michigan. AAEL houses the Art & Design, Architecture & Urban Planning and Engineering Collections. We provided intellectual property support to our faculty and students including special innovation offices like Tech Transfer, and Medical Innovation from the university and we also worked with independent inventors from the state of Michigan.
We had the USPTO Detroit Satellite office come in talk to 7 classes this academic year and they also had a session at Ann Arbor Spark which is a innovation center in Ann Arbor. These classes included Graduate and Undergraduate classes for Engineering and School of Information. We also updated the Official Gazette Collection in Hathi Trust https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/mb?a=listis&c=1475048347 with the help of Russ Allen now we have about 30 or so issues missing.
