During the kickoff event of the Summer Reading Program at the Hawaii State Library, we set up a Plant Patent Station as one of the many stations the participants needed to visit.
At each station, attendees collected a stamp, and to win a prize, they had to collect stamps from all stations.
Our Plant Patent Station showcased a colorful display of various plant patents invented by Hawaii residents, providing participants with an engaging opportunity to learn about our PTRC services and intellectual property rights while exploring different activities.
In December, we organized a festive and educational Christmas Tree Ornament Patents Coloring Activity.
This initiative not only offered participants a delightful opportunity to engage in creative coloring activities but also served as a gateway to introduce them to the realm of intellectual property and our PTRC services.
As participants colored their favorite Christmas tree ornament patents, they not only had fun, but also gained insights into the importance of intellectual property rights.
Their uniquely colored ornaments adorned our Christmas tree, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
