Membership in PTRCA does not imply an invitation to attend the PTRCP Annual Training Seminar. Membership Dues pay for certain Seminar expenses, publication of the PTRCA Newsletter, maintenance and upgrades to the PTRCA.ORG website, gifts, stationery, and other operating budget needs. Membership runs from the last day of the current seminar to the last day of the next year’s event). As approved in our 2012 Business Meeting, regular PTRCA membership is open to any interested person employed at a Patent and Trademark Resource Center. Regular members may vote on PTRCA business, and may hold elective offices or appointed positions.
Affiliate membership is open to persons not eligible for regular membership who fall into the following categories: retired PTRC staff, former PTRC representatives, librarians and staff at libraries who respond to questions from their clientele regarding patent and trademark information, current and former USPTO staff, and students enrolled in a library or information science/studies program.
