Howdy from the Texas A&M University West Campus (Business) Library, home of the College Station, Texas PTRC since December 22, 1983. I, Jared Hoppenfeld, along with assistance from library staff member Boyd Conerway, are happy to assist students, faculty, and community members with their P&T questions; this past year saw a 49% increase in such questions. I have recently consolidated two old LibGuides into one Patent and Trademark guide within the new LG2 platform. For the past couple years now, I have presented a 2-hour Patent Pop-Up Session (sponsored by the Engineering Innovation Center) every fall and spring where I have taught Engineering students about the wonderful world of patents and trademarks. I have also continued to enjoy my relationship with an Innovative Product Design class that invites me to speak about intellectual property every semester. I also teach entrepreneurship and other business students about patents and trademarks.
